Affton, MO Homes for Sale

Affton is an unincorporated community in south St. Louis County, just southwest of the City of St. Louis. Because it isn’t a city, St. Louis County provides local government services here. Most Affton addresses use the 63123 ZIP code, and Gravois Road (Route 30) runs through the middle of the community as its main commercial corridor.

Parks, trails and landmarks

  • Grant’s Farm, on Grant Road, is the historic Busch family estate. Part of the land was once farmed by Ulysses S. Grant in the 1850s. Admission is free, and parking is paid. Right next door is the Ulysses S. Grant National Historic Site (White Haven).

  • Grant’s Trail (Gravois Greenway) is a paved former rail line that runs about 8 miles between the Orlando Gardens trailhead and I-44 in Kirkwood, following Gravois Creek. It connects to the Affton Athletic Association fields and Officer Blake C. Snyder Memorial Park, and links to the River des Peres Greenway.

  • Oakland House, at 7801 Genesta, is an 1853 Italianate limestone villa designed by George I. Barnett. It’s on the National Register of Historic Places, and the Affton Historical Society opens it to visitors on scheduled Sundays in season.
